Where is WINGS located, and how do I get there?
We are easily accessible from Vero II, at the junction of Mitropolit Teodosij Gologanov. Turn onto Bradford Street, then onto Mile Pop Jordanov. Ample on-site parking is available for visitors.
How many students are in each class?
We maintain small class sizes to ensure individualized attention and meaningful teacher-student engagement.
Does WINGS provide transportation?
At this time, we do not offer a school bus service. However, many families arrange carpools, and we are happy to help connect families for shared transportation.

What extracurricular activities do you offer?
We offer a wide range of clubs and activities, including:

What facilities does WINGS have for activities?
We have a dedicated Music Room for instrument practice and vocal lessons and a fully equipped PE Room for indoor sports and movement activities.

School Policies & Parent Involvement
What is the school’s mobile phone policy?
Each classroom will have clear lockers assigned to students for storing their phones throughout the school day. Phones must be handed in at the start of the school day and returned at dismissal. Exceptions apply for medical reasons. Phones are not to be used in class, ensuring a focused and distraction-free learning environment. Use during break times is still under consideration.
Does the school have Internet Security?
WINGS’ school internet will have security features in place to prevent access to inappropriate websites, ensuring a safe and secure digital learning space for all students.
What happens if my child is absent?
Parents should notify the school before 8:00 AM if a child is absent. Extended absences require a written explanation.
How does WINGS communicate with parents?
We keep parents informed through:

How much homework is assigned?
Homework is age-appropriate and designed to reinforce classroom learning. We also encourage students to read daily for independent learning.
Do you offer gifted and talented programs?
Yes! We provide enrichment opportunities, advanced coursework, and personalized learning paths for students needing extra challenge.
How are students assessed?
Assessment includes:
- Teacher evaluations & progress tracking.

Admissions & Enrollment
Can my child enroll mid-year?
Yes! Enrollment is open year-round, depending on available spaces. Mid-year applicants may require an assessment and placement review before admission.
Is there a waiting list?
Some grades fill quickly. If no spaces are available, we offer a priority waiting list and notify families when a spot opens.
What languages are spoken at WINGS?
Our primary language of instruction is English, with Macedonian as a core subject taught to Macedonian nationals.
Do you accept students who don’t speak English fluently?
Yes! We offer English as a Second Language (ESL) support to help non-native speakers integrate successfully.

We integrate Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) into daily routines and provide access to a guidance counselor for emotional and academic support.

WINGS will be a Cognia Candidate School from early summer 2025, just in time for the start of the school year!
